SPECIFICATIONS

This Industrial Electronic Insect Killer uses ultra-violet light to lure light sensitive flies and other flying insects into an electronically charged high voltage metal grid, destroying them quickly without the need for chemicals, fumes smells or sprays.

The dead insects are collected hygiencally in the easily removeable base tray.

Chemical free & environmentally friendly this is ideal for indoor use in restaurants, kitchens, offices, hospitals, hotels, farms and other business premises, especially in areas of food production and preparation.

Easy to install and clean as well as easy to replace bulbs. Sturdy aluminium alloy casing which comes with a chain for hanging, this unit can be used freestanding or hanging.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. The best location is at the entrance of doors or windows.

2. Hang the insect killer at a height of 1.80 to 2.20 meters above the ground and keep 0.30 meters away from the wall.

3. Plug it into an electric socket before switch on the light or switch off all the strong lights for 20-30 minutes suddenly.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Always ensure the insect killer is unplugged before attempting any cleaning or maintenance.

Unplug the appliance before cleaning. Use suitable brush to clean the high voltage metal grid and throw away the bodies of insects on the collection tray every week.

For any repair needs, please take appliance to an authorized repairer or qualified person.

PRECAUTIONS

  • Check the local voltage before working. Do not intend to touch the internal high voltage grids using because of electric shock danger. Never put metal objects inside the grids while working.
  • Should the cord be damaged it must be exclusively replaced by the manufacturer, or his agent, or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
  • The appliance is indoors only. It is not suitable for use in barns, stables and similar locations. The appliance is not to be used in locations where flammable vapors or explosive dust is likely to exist.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience or knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. 
  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Types of faults that are prone to occur and the measures to deal with them

Problem: Making sure the power is on, the indicator light is on, but one or two lamps are still off, or one of them trembles continuously.
Solution:When the power is off, please unscrew and tighten the lamp.

Problem: Making sure the power is on, the indicator light is on but the lamp is still off after tightening.
Solution: Please contact us directly to resend new lamps.

Problem: Making sure the power is on, neither the indicator light nor the lamp is on.
Solution: Please contact us directly to resend a new one.

Problem: The machine is in good condition, but the lamp is broken.
Solution: Please contact us directly to resend new lamps.
